From the buyer side, it means asking better questions before commitment: not only whether backups exist, but whether rebuild ownership is clear; not only whether segmentation exists, but whether it is tested; not only whether access is logged, but whether privileged paths shrink over time instead of accumulating.

The market becomes easier to trust when real operating controls are visible, current, and comparable, not when everyone repeats the same generic compliance claims. Clarity around privileged access, telemetry continuity, and rebuild ownership makes high-stakes infrastructure decisions materially better for both buyers and operators.
